*** THE 'REAL' 291 *** So, just a little backstory to The 291, I've ran this number since early 2001. After I had won my first number one plate with SRA in 2000 as a 30+ Expert and after coming out with a big number 1 on my Bike at round #1 of the 2001 season and getting completely hammered on by a few guys, I requested a number change and 291 was born,,, LoL!!! It ended up being a really good way for me to stay under the radar and not getting taken out buy my competition to the point that I won the number one plate again in 2001, again in 2002 and after taking a few years off, I snagged another in 2006!!!
*** THE 'ORIGINAL' UPPER FORK GUARDS *** So here you go,,, This is the first set of Guards I made in 1997/98 and you could still use these if you wanted to! I say 97/98 because I remember running these on a bike before I had got my 1998 CR250 and I ran these same Guards up thru 2002 on my CRF450R. I found it necessary to start protecting my forks as I was practicing and racing at Glen Helen 3 to 4 times a week and that track is so abrasive! If I can get a better picture on here, you'd be able to see the actual rock dents in these things!
On the 'ORIGINAL' Guards you're able to see the saw cuts I made by cutting all the way thru, LoL!!! Yes I know, they're just ABS however cutting them was a pain in the arse and if you've ever made a set, you'd understand that it is much easier to just go and buy em!
